CAP 3RI supports the development of Gazonor though a 3 M€ financing

La Française de l’Energie vient d’obtenir un financement de 3 millions d’euros pour sa filiale Gazonor de la part de CAP 3RI, société d’investissement dédiée à la Troisième révolution industrielle en Hauts-de-France, un territoire pionnier de l’économie de demain.

Gazonor va ainsi pouvoir accélérer son développement qui est au coeur de cet effort de réduction de l’empreinte carbone avec son activité de captage, avant son rejet dans l’atmosphère, du gaz qui s’échappe des anciennes galeries minières et de sa transformation en électricité verte valorisée localement.

Cette opération est réalisée au niveau de Gazonor Holding sous forme d’obligations convertibles dans cette filiale du Groupe. Cette levée de fonds traduit l’intérêt croissant des investisseurs pour les activités de La Française de l’Energie notamment dans les Hauts-de-France.

Julien Moulin, Président de La Française de l’Energie, a déclaré : « Le partenariat avec CAP 3RI marque une étape importante dans l’histoire de notre groupe. Cette participation d’une société d’investissement dédiée à la troisième révolution industrielle, soutenue par son principal actionnaire, la Région Hauts-de-France, confirme la qualité de notre projet et valide notre programme de développement ayant pour objectif zéro rejet dans l’atmosphère de gaz issu des mines à horizon 2022.»

Fort de ce financement, La Française de l’Energie anticipe de significativement accélérer son développement dans les Hauts-de-France.

Our engineers embrace the energy transition with a pragmatic view.

Recovering abandoned mine gas avoids fatal gas emissions into the atmosphere, while local coal gas reduces the need to import much more carbon-intensive gases. Abundant solar energy is both local and renewable.

To support the energy transition, at FDE, we are constantly innovating, looking for new solutions for the future, such as hydrogen, a decarbonized energy, or CO2 sequestration in coal.

In addition, all energy produced by our Group is designed to be more virtuous. All these processes therefore make FDE the only French energy producer with a negative carbon footprint.
